PvP, Indoor Soccer, and Car Brands

As an experienced (AKA still really bad) PvP player, I have an entertaining list for those who have never been on a PvP server. You really should play PvP Minecraft.
About 4 or 5 chatty Queen and King bees? Check.
One massive scrum in the center of the map? Check.
About 40 really bad players? Check.
One mansion for the King and Queen Bees? Check.
About a million campers? Check.
Full Inventory and armour flying everywhere? Check.
Climbing and Sprinting everywhere? Check.
Total fun? Yep!

The thing about indoor soccer is that in leagues you often don't have many teams. You end up playing each team about four times. This works if you're a good team and you can win all the games, but if you are Littleton Girls U12 Indoor Soccer team then it doesn't work that way. You know when you're going to lose. I would lodge my complaint to Teamworks, if I actually cared, which I don't, because it's an interesting foresight and is helpful when placing bets (I don't place bets.) Much to everyone's annoyance, most of the other teams are a mile taller than us. Well, Maynard, anyway. Our hopes for an undefeated season were shattered after the seasons first game. We had to play two games on Sat. a while back and we lost thirteen-zip to both teams. Recent games have been better, I'll let you know next year when we win.

Speaking of Chevrolet, which I wasn't, I'm sure everyone knows that Chevy have 'Fight Song' as their ad song. If they are fighting for car sales, that's scary, if not, then that's weird. My other dig on Chevy is their slogan, 'Find New Roads'. Right, so, I've bought my brand-new Chevy Truck, now I have to find new roads that I couldn't find with my Toyota, which was the same, but cheaper. Apparently.
Now, Toyota is just as strange, 'Lets Go Places' I'm fairly certain I can go places without a Toyota Camry. Just saying.
Ford, 'Go Further' Right, I'll drive off into the sunset now. And be frazzled. Because if I have to be frazzled, at least let me be with my Ford.
Audi, 'Never Follow'. What? Never follow what? Actually, I don't want to know. Forget I asked.
BMW, 'The Ultimate Driving Machine' Look, I just want to get to wherever I'm going in peace. It doesn't have to be perfect, for heavens sake.
Honda, "The Power Of Dreams' Wait, are we still talking about cars?
Nissan,'Built for the Human Race' I should certainly hope so.
Land Rover, 'Go Beyond' My frazzled Ford? Sure. See ya.

WHOVIAN TIMES: Clara Oswald, Treksgiving, and David Tennant

Recently on Doctor Who, Clara Oswald, companion, died from a shadow. Her dying is a bit too good to be true, since she was rubbish, so I'll place my bet that she returns. At the very least she died in a good old monster filled spaceship/town/planet/street/asteroid, where the monsters had nothing to do with the story whatsoever. The story centered around a semi-annoying tattoo that Clara was stupid enough to get. This isn't the kind of 'Whoops, I went too near that exploding asteroid and got this disease that The Doctor can fix' sort of screw-up, it was simply the companion showing the usual human stupidity and 'taking risks' and not waiting for the older, wiser Doctor to stop it. In a nutshell, Clara getting killed by a shadow was the fault of earlier Clara. And, also, yet another To Be Continued.

Treksgiving is coming up on BBC America, and the ad for it is one of the best Wholloween enterprises (Geddit?) I've seen yet. The USS Enterprise has turkey legs instead of hyperdrive Star Wars engines- a very badly made commercial, but to cut to basic 'here, this is what we are showing on Thanksgiving', it's very funny. My regrets to having not watched Wholloween or DOTD, I didn't feel the need to slum over the television for 24 hours watching rubbish Halloween specials or droning Daleks. All in the name of fun. As for Treksgiving, I intend to watch a few just to see how very Thanksgiving-Esque they are. Obviously Doctor Who couldn't come up with a cute Thanksgiving slogan, whereas Halloween fit the bill nicely. In terms of names, I'd say Treksgiving is just as bad (Funny) as Wholloween.

Let us hope that a new Doctor comes along. Try as BBC may like, you can't replace good ol' David Tennant. A particular episode, 'Silence in the Library-Part Two,' since I forget what that episode was called, with the Vashta Nerada, it just proves the fact you can be surrounded by monsters and still escape through the trapdoor. When DWM took a poll on best slogan, Who Turned Out The Lights came dead last. Silence in the Library had the best, by far, To Be Continued ending I've seen in my history. (Note: my DW resume starts from Chris Eccleston all the way to Capaldi) And I've seen a fair few TBC endings. Lets hear it for the Regular Old Garden Rabbit in the 50th anniversary episode, thank you, bye.
